Climate: Northern Croatia has a continental climate; Central Croatia has a semi-highland and highland climate, while the Croatian coast has a Mediterranean climate. Winter temperatures range from -1 to 30°C in the continental region, -5 to 0°C in the mountain region and 5 to 10°C in the coastal region. Summer temperatures range from 22 to 26°C in the continental region, 15 to 20°C in the mountain region and 26 to 30°C in the coastal region.
Rest of Croatia has moderate continental climate, you can find mountain climate on(Velebit, Risnjak, Snježnik). The littoral and hinterland south of the island of Rab have the Mediterranean climate.
Natural parks: Croatia has seven natural parks: the Brijuni islands, the Kornati islands, and the island of MIijet, Krka Waterfalls, Pakienica Canyon, Plitvice Lakes and Risnjak Mountain. Many national parks, such as the Velebit and Biokovo Mountains, are located away from cities and transport routes. Others, such as Medvednica (Zagreb), and Kopacki Rit (Osijek), are situated close to urban areas. The island of Lokrum near Dubrovnik, Rauchova lugarnica (Rauch forest) near Zagreb, and the top of Japetic Mountain near Samobor, are examples of vegetation forests located near major urban centers.

That was a whole lot of stuff that I didn't know. Thanks for sharing it.
Well, well, well,
you opened my heart, completely. Can you see / feel tears of joy in my eyes?
Thank you from all my heart.
Only one comment: Yugoslavia WAS NOT COMMUNIST STATE, ve had SOCIALISM after World War Two. But type of socialism we had was not compared to any of typical socialistic countries. It was very comfortable to live in Yugoslavia, although life was more simple, was actually secure, there was very little political pressure for ordinary citizens, and all social rights of people were very respected, education was free and extremely good etc.
Now we have capitalism, what is big shock for majority of people, now is more poor citizens then ever, because we have to learn rules of capitalism, we never used to, nobody thought us and this is unbelievable big challenge. But we are survivors, due to the good Slavic genetics. Capitalism was established during our civil war, while men of Croatia were fighting to save territory, on the beginning almost without weapons, more clever ones were stilling companies and destroying economy in order to become private owners. The civil war was produced from that ones who are now owning majority of Croatian companies etc, and all this wealth used to belong to the people. Who did not know how to save it.
Our coast and our mountains are enchanting. I really love my country, and although I like to travel, and all planet is really beautiful, full of miraculous areas, I cannot imagine to live anywhere else. Croatia has definitely stolen my heart in this life...permanently.
Love, Light and Peace...and myriads of blessings.
I love Croatia. I once spent a few years on Hvar, and it was wonderful.
BoK!
Thanks for the great hub... I'm hoping to holiday in Croatia this year, it looks truly beautiful there!
I've got to see Croatia before the sun sets on me...
Hm...if you live in my heart, what you will eat? Do not even think that you could chew my heart, ha, ha, ha....The best is that you use some magick and become a cat. My cat eats, sleeps, gets cuddling, love, has freedom and all this for nothing. She just looks cute...He, he, he...
Croatia IS VERY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, it really looks like paradise, (more or less) altough living here might be challenging...or a fairy tale....depending of personal circumstances...and personal energies. Hm, in the fairy tales challenges are also met...
I suggest you to go to my Hub: SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH&POWERFULL VISUALISATION TOOLS FOR MONEY, and use last tree videos to regurarly meditate on them. After some time....money will start to arrive. Read the Hub as well. (Pls click on my ads (!)....thanks....). Use some gems while doing meditations...
I told you that I have Mother essence of Money, is called "visualisation on money"
