I love people, languages is foreign cultures so therefore I speak few languages. Some I learned from my friends others in the school. I find Russian language very sweet when spoken for example, Privet means hello, Kakdila means how are you and Kharosho means fine and sounds very sweet when spoken. You might be curious now but just take your time one step at a time. Are you ready start from your first lesson in the next paragraph good luck.

It’s not difficult to count up to 10 in any language but I believe you will need to learn a little bit more than counting just up to 10. Before I start counting up to 10 I would like to give you some background about Russian language.

But the effort you have been to in expounding all these numbers and the white Russian then finaly the map. Well that is beyond the call of duty.

Flash cards are a good way to learn elements of many subjects and I see you have linked to some freeware offering just that. The fact that audio is linked as well is very good. I will use this link for practice. I may try Spanish in this manner, because that is one language I simply cannot grasp, so far. Thanks very much for the links! What other lanaguages do you speak?

I can read write & speak spanish, also speak French, learned Japanese at NYU but lost it never practiced, some Korean, Chinese, Russian.
Great hub. Counting is the first thing i like to learn when learning a new language. I dont quiet know why. I guess its the easiest thing to associate. Great hub who knows maybe I will be counting I Russian soon.
Counting in Japanese was interesting for me but I lost every thing I learned because of no practice.
On Croatian we count: Jedan, dva, tri, ?etiri, pet, šest, sedam, osam, devet, deset...jedanaest, dvanaest, trinaest, ?etrnaest, petnaest, šestnaest....I think we might understand each other....don`t we?

Thanks for browsing my hub or hubs & for the lovely comments. In Croatian I only know how to say how are you Kako si or Kak dila in Russian. Saint Misha is an expert in Russian language because that is his language. I don't see much difference in Kako si or Kak dila & it's same for the numbers too. Basically both languages originated from Slavic language. Here is some detail.
Slavic languages are divided into three groups: eastern (Russian, White-Russian, Ukrainian, Ruthenian), western (Polish, Kashubian, Lower Sorabian, Upper Sorabian, Czech, Slovak) and southern (Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Church Slavonic.

OK, in Zagreb (capital of Croatia) and sorrunding, we say Kak si and Kaj delaš.. Anyhow I never had problems while speaking with Russians...We did understand each other pretty well (not perfect, but a little of telepathy helped) Happy Holidays to you guys as well

Russian is very sweet language I love it myself. About drink I can't have Vodka, tried once with bad experience. Of course I have very sweet taste because I appreciate the nature.

Well every thing is difficult if you don't try or you are not interested in it. Learning a language requires love for the language and culture, rest is easy.
From where you learn Russian? nice to help others learn a foreign language. You know for fine it is written as "Xopowo" and sounds as horosho and not Kharosho.
